Winter Elopement on the slopes of Telluride Ski Resort

Abby and Devin are from Oklahoma but previously lived in Telluride, Colorado. They knew when the time came to get married there would be no other choice then Telluride. When I first spoke with them they mentioned their dog Thunder and how they wanted him to be a special part of their day. They had no specific location and only knew it would be them, their families and a few friends. The weather for February in Colorado could not have been better and we decided a short and sweet elopement on the slopes at the top of the gondola would be just perfect. So with the stunning back drop of the San Juan Mountains and the town of Telluride below they said their I do's! We took a few family photos after the ceremony then loaded up in the Gondola and headed back down into town for a few more photos. After warming up a bit inside a local cafe we headed over to the creek at the bottom of the lift and captured some beautiful waterside photos within the pines.
